Barr community council unsuspended
After complaints received in late 2022 which led to a 15 month suspension, South Ayrshire Council has now unsuspended Barr community council from the 4th July 2025. The full complaints

Barr Community Council has arranged for a mobile phone service to be available in the village for the first time. It has been a commonly requested goal for many years

The results are in: 89% voted yes to an energy grant, 80% voted yes for TV licences for the over-75’s and 72% supported membership for the Quay zone. The community
