Barr Community Council is pleased to announce that funding has been secured to cover the cost of a TV licence for residents within the parish of Barr who are aged 75 or over. Starting December 2024, this initiative aims to support our senior community members by paying their TV licence, which is currently £169.50 annually.
After the initial grant, an ongoing grant will be payable on the anniversary of previous grant payment until the funding is ceased by the community council or the funding provider.
How to Apply:
- Download the Application Form: You can download the application form below or collect a physical copy from the local village shop.
- Complete the Form: Fill in the required information.
- Submit the Form: Complete online or return the completed form to the village shop.
Payment Options: You can choose to receive the grant payment via:
- Cheque: The grant will be sent to your home address.
- Direct Bank Transfer: Please provide your bank account details on the application form.
