SEPA has issued their latest Water Scarcity Report on 1 June indicating that the South Ayrshire is at the “Early Warning” level. The month of May has been relatively dry and water sources are starting to show signs of drying up.
Recognising these shortages as becoming common place, the Scottish Government has again put in place a scheme this year to pay for bottled water supplies to be delivered by Scottish Water to key locations in order that residents with PWS issues can obtain emergency water supplies.
Supplies are being delivered to key locations in South Ayrshire. In order to pick this water up, persons must already have their details provided to South Ayrshire Council Environmental Health. Details required are: name, address of property, contact phone number or email
