The latest windfarm to be planned for our area is at Millenderdale west of Pinmore. Seven turbines are proposed, and they will be visible from the area around Barr, as well as most of the surrounding region.
The applicant, Green Power International, has provided details of their proposal along with plans, maps and projected photomontages from various viewpoints including Barr. Paper copies of these can be viewed in the entrance hall of Barr Village Hall.
