Barr Bus : A return to a scheduled service 3 days a week

On Monday 1st May 2017 a NEW service ‘CB8′ began on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, between Barr and Girvan, connecting with trains and buses to Ayr and elsewhere. Barr Community Council have worked very hard for the last few years lobbying SPT for a return to a scheduled service to enable access to facilities for all and also contributed funding to the project that is backed by LEADER. Thank you to SPT, SACT but especially all Barr residents who supported this project.
